You will work closely with senior team members, clients, and cross-functional groups such as syndication and research to ensure seamless deal flow. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in structuring and executing debt capital market transactions for LATAM corporate and sovereign clients
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support deal pricing and risk assessment
  • Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region
  • Monitor market trends, interest rates, and credit conditions in LATAM
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams for transaction execution
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings and negotiations
  • Perform due diligence on potential issuers and transactions
  • Contribute to internal reports and market intelligence for the Debt Capital Markets group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, capital markets, or debt financing
  • Strong understanding of debt capital markets, including bonds, loans, and structured products
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Latin American markets or cross-border transactions
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in LATAM countries (e.g., Mexico, Brazil, Chile)
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Experience with Bloomberg or similar financial terminals
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent
