Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies for JP Morgan Chase's payments offerings in the LATAM region, focusing on growth in cross-border and domestic payment solutions
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes in LATAM countries to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, compliance, and technology, to enhance payment products and services tailored to LATAM clients
  • Manage client relationships with key corporate and institutional clients, providing strategic advice on payment optimization and treasury management
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the payments business, including revenue, volume, and client satisfaction metrics
  • Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, such as SWIFT standards, ISO 20022, and regional payment schemes
  • Drive innovation in digital payments, real-time processing, and API integrations to support JP Morgan's global payments platform in LATAM
  • Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to support business planning and investment decisions for payments expansion
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to talent development within the LATAM payments group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payments, treasury services, or financial operations within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of LATAM payment systems, regulations, and market dynamics, including knowledge of local currencies and cross-border transactions
  • Proven track record in business management, strategy development, or client relationship management in a multinational financial environment
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable
  • Experience with risk management, compliance, and anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks in emerging markets
