Key Responsibilities

• Strategically manage capital deployment and investment strategies for JP Morgan Chase's Latin America investment banking coverage group
• Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in key Latin American markets, including M&A and capital markets advisory
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global standards
• Manage and mitigate financial risks associated with client portfolios and market volatility in emerging economies
• Foster strong relationships with senior executives, clients, and internal stakeholders to align business objectives
• Lead performance analysis and forecasting to support decision-making in global finance operations
• Collaborate with cross-regional teams to promote integrated solutions for Latin America clients
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and develop junior team members to build a high-performing coverage group

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on Latin America coverage and client relationship management
• Proven track record in strategic business management within global financial services, including capital allocation and growth initiatives
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management in international finance, particularly in emerging markets
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis for high-stakes investment banking operations
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus for Latin America market engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank like JP Morgan Chase, with direct involvement in Latin America deals
• CFA or equivalent certification in finance or investment management
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams managing multimillion-dollar portfolios
