Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end software solutions for asset management applications using cloud-native technologies to support portfolio optimization and client reporting
• Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives in a fast-paced financial environment
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, such as microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless computing, to enhance system scalability and resilience
• Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations, including data security standards and audit requirements specific to JP Morgan Chase's asset management division
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices in software design
• Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructures to handle high-volume financial transactions
• Integrate third-party APIs and data sources for real-time market data ingestion and analytics in asset management workflows
• Drive proof-of-concept initiatives for new architectural patterns, measuring impact on operational efficiency and cost savings
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans tailored to financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or asset management
• Proven expertise in designing scalable solutions using modern cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of asset management systems, including portfolio management, risk assessment, and compliance requirements
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments within a large-scale financial institution
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks like SEC, FINRA, and GDPR as they apply to financial software solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and platforms, such as proprietary trading systems or data analytics frameworks
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF)
• Background in integrating AI/ML for predictive analytics in asset management
• Prior work on high-frequency trading or real-time data processing applications
