Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable solutions for Corporate & Investment Bank Technology (COGT), ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals in compliance, legal, operations, and risk management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and architectural standards
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance security, efficiency, and compliance in financial systems
  • Lead the development of reference architectures for enterprise-wide applications, focusing on integration with core banking platforms
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on best practices for data governance and regulatory adherence
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation within JP Morgan's technology organization
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks in solution designs, ensuring resilience against cyber threats in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or software engineering within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of leading architectural initiatives in compliance, legal, or risk management domains
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III in a banking context
  • Experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments in large-scale financial systems
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and data privacy standards in financial technology
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive corporate data at JP Morgan Chase
