Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable information architectures for software applications supporting JPMorgan Chase's core banking, investment, and asset management operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, developers, and compliance officers to ensure architectures align with regulatory requirements and business objectives
• Develop and maintain data models, ontologies, and metadata standards to optimize data flow and accessibility across enterprise systems
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as cloud-native solutions and big data platforms to enhance financial data processing efficiency
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks in high-volume transaction environments
• Mentor junior architects and foster a culture of innovation within the architecture team at JPMorgan Chase
• Ensure adherence to JPMorgan's data security protocols and contribute to audit processes for financial reporting accuracy
• Drive the adoption of best practices in information architecture to support real-time analytics for trading and risk assessment
• Partner with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into robust, future-proof architectural solutions
• Monitor and optimize system performance to handle the scale of global financial operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in information architecture, data modeling, or enterprise architecture within the financial services industry
• Proven track record of leading architecture initiatives for large-scale software applications in a banking or financial environment
• Deep expertise in data governance, compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership in high-stakes financial projects
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on secure data handling in finance
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances or certifications relevant to financial data security

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as TOGAF, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Experience in designing architectures for risk management, fraud detection, or regulatory reporting systems at a major bank
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and frameworks for data architecture
• Prior leadership in digital transformation projects involving AI/ML integration for financial data
• MBA or equivalent business acumen in financial services

• Expertise in data modeling tools like ER/Studio or PowerDesigner
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Teradata
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience with API design, microservices, and integration patterns in financial systems
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles for protecting sensitive financial data
• Analytical problem-solving skills for complex data architecture challenges
• Leadership and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Agile and DevOps practices for rapid deployment in banking environments
• Business acumen in financial regulations and risk management
