Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable architecture solutions for mobile applications leveraging modern cloud-based technologies to support JP Morgan Chase's digital banking platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives in the financial services domain
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies, such as containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless computing, to enhance mobile app performance and security
• Ensure architectural designs comply with industry regulations, including secure data handling for sensitive financial information and adherence to JP Morgan's risk management frameworks
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering best practices in mobile development and cloud architecture within an agile team environment
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and scalability assessments for mobile applications serving millions of global users
• Drive innovation by prototyping and implementing advanced features like biometric authentication and real-time transaction processing in mobile banking apps
• Monitor and troubleshoot architectural issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial services
• Contribute to strategic planning for mobile ecosystem evolution, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's long-term digital transformation goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on mobile application development
• Proven expertise in designing scalable architectures using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations, including data security and compliance standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments within the banking or fintech sector
• Proficiency in modern development practices, including microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions in high-stakes environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and platforms, such as proprietary mobile banking frameworks
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or mobile development (e.g., Google Certified Professional - Android Developer)
• Prior work on financial mobile apps handling secure transactions, fraud detection, or real-time analytics
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like blockchain or AI integration in mobile fintech applications
• MBA or advanced degree in finance to bridge technical and business domains

• Expertise in mobile platforms (iOS with Swift/Objective-C, Android with Kotlin/Java)
• Proficiency in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) and microservices design
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and encryption for financial data
