Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity architectures to protect JP Morgan Chase's financial systems and data
• Lead the integration of security solutions across multiple technologies, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in banking applications and infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security controls into the software development lifecycle
• Oversee the deployment of critical security updates and patches to ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Develop and maintain security architecture roadmaps aligned with JP Morgan's strategic initiatives
• Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on best practices in financial cybersecurity
• Evaluate emerging threats and technologies to recommend enhancements to the firm's security posture
• Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations specific to financial services
• Participate in incident response planning and post-mortem analyses for security events

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven track record of implementing cybersecurity solutions in a large-scale financial services environment
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, and FFIEC guidelines
• Experience with cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Cybersecurity or related field
• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Familiarity with blockchain and cryptocurrency security in financial contexts
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams spanning technology and compliance
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based threat detection systems
