Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate advanced cybersecurity architecture solutions across multiple technologies, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise security standards
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of critical security updates and patches to mitigate risks in financial systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect secure cloud infrastructures, including AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments used in banking operations
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing financial applications to prevent data breaches and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity blueprints that support JP Morgan's global trading, payment, and client data platforms
• Mentor junior engineers and architects on best practices for secure coding and system design in the financial sector
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive measures to protect sensitive financial assets
• Integrate security controls into DevOps pipelines to enable secure, rapid deployment of banking services
• Prepare and present security architecture reports to senior leadership, highlighting impacts on business operations and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or related roles within the financial services industry
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing secure architectures for enterprise environments, including cloud and on-premises systems
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls, with experience in regulatory compliance for financial institutions
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and threat modeling in high-stakes financial environments
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
• Strong understanding of financial sector regulations including GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline
