Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity architectures that integrate offensive and defensive strategies to protect JP Morgan Chase's financial assets and client data
• Lead the evaluation, integration, and deployment of critical security updates across multiple technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to banking operations
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new financial products and services, aligning with industry regulations and JP Morgan's risk management framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to architect secure solutions for Singapore-based operations and global connectivity
• Oversee penetration testing and red team exercises to simulate offensive attacks, identifying vulnerabilities in defensive postures
• Develop and maintain security blueprints for hybrid cloud environments, focusing on data encryption, access controls, and incident response in financial transactions
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats in the financial sector and recommend proactive architectural enhancements
• Ensure compliance with Singapore's Monetary Authority (MAS) guidelines and international standards through regular audits and architecture reviews
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to JP Morgan's cybersecurity knowledge base, fostering a culture of security innovation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in offensive and defensive security practices within the financial services sector
• Proven track record of implementing cybersecurity solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably in banking or financial institutions
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and MAS guidelines relevant to Singapore's financial landscape
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing in offensive security contexts
• Strong understanding of defensive security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, with exposure to cross-border cybersecurity challenges
• Familiarity with cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP, tailored to financial data protection
• Leadership experience in mentoring cybersecurity teams and driving security initiatives in high-stakes environments
• Knowledge of emerging threats in fintech, such as blockchain security and API vulnerabilities
• Advanced certifications in offensive security, such as GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)
