Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data architectures to support compliance technology applications at JP Morgan Chase
• Collaborate with compliance, engineering, and business teams to define data requirements for regulatory needs
• Lead the development of data models, schemas, and pipelines ensuring scalability and security in financial systems
• Oversee data governance initiatives to maintain data quality, integrity, and compliance with industry standards
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like AI and big data tools into compliance workflows
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership on complex projects
• Conduct data architecture reviews and optimize existing systems for performance in high-volume trading environments
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's risk management and cybersecurity protocols in all data solutions
• Drive innovation in data strategies to enhance regulatory reporting efficiency
• Participate in cross-regional initiatives to standardize compliance data architectures globally

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or compliance technology
• Proven track record in designing scalable data solutions for regulatory compliance systems
• Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP in a financial context
• Strong understanding of financial regulations like AML, KYC, and Dodd-Frank
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile environments
