Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures to support Consumer Technology's CDAS initiatives, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals
• Lead the development of data models, ETL processes, and integration strategies for revolutionary financial solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform industry practices
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with global financial regulations in all architectural designs
• Mentor junior architects and drive best practices in data governance and quality across the organization
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies like AI and cloud-native tools to inspire innovative data solutions
• Conduct architectural reviews and optimize existing systems for performance and cost-efficiency in a high-volume banking environment
• Partner with CT leadership to shape long-term data strategies that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency
• Monitor industry trends and recommend architectural enhancements to maintain JP Morgan Chase's competitive edge
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation to foster a culture of innovation in data architecture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or banking
• Proven track record in designing scalable data architectures for complex enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on data management
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, and financial standards (e.g., Basel III, SOX)
• Strong leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and data governance initiatives
• Certification in data architecture (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with JP Morgan Chase or similar large-scale financial institutions
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration in data pipelines for predictive analytics in finance
• Familiarity with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies for secure financial data handling
• Advanced degree in Data Science or Analytics
• Prior involvement in digital transformation projects within the Consumer Technology division
