Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust data architectures for custody securities services applications, ensuring scalability and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, business, and compliance teams to define data requirements and solutions
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and integration patterns to support high-volume securities transactions
• Oversee data governance initiatives, including quality assurance, lineage tracking, and compliance with financial regulations
• Mentor junior architects and data engineers, fostering best practices in data architecture within JP Morgan Chase
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML for predictive analytics in securities services
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments to mitigate data-related vulnerabilities
• Drive agile delivery of data solutions, optimizing for cost-efficiency and operational resilience
• Partner with global teams to align data architectures with JP Morgan's enterprise-wide standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or banking
• Proven track record in designing scalable data solutions for custody and securities services
• Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks
• Experience with regulatory compliance in financial data handling (e.g., SEC, FINRA standards)
• Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications like TOGAF, CDMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Experience with JP Morgan's internal data platforms or similar enterprise systems
• Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technologies in securities custody
• Prior work in asset management or post-trade processing within investment banking
• MBA or equivalent business acumen in financial services
