Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust data architectures to support cybersecurity across JP Morgan Chase's software applications and platforms
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to identify and mitigate data-related risks in financial services operations
• Develop scalable data models and integration strategies that ensure compliance with global financial regulations and internal policies
• Drive innovation in cybersecurity architecture by incorporating emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection and blockchain for secure transactions
• Oversee the architecture of data platforms that handle sensitive financial data, ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership in agile sprints focused on cybersecurity enhancements
• Conduct architecture reviews and audits to align with JP Morgan's enterprise standards for data privacy and integrity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within financial services
• Proven expertise in designing scalable data architectures for cybersecurity and risk management in banking environments
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and Basel III relevant to financial data security
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, focusing on secure data pipelines in fintech
• Strong background in enterprise data modeling and integration for high-stakes financial applications
• Certification in data architecture (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Data Science
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration in data security architectures
• Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal tools and frameworks for financial data governance
