Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data architectures for software applications and platform products supporting JP Morgan's global financial operations
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals
• Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and integration strategies for real-time financial data processing
• Oversee data modeling, schema design, and optimization for performance in high-stakes banking environments
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal security standards in all data solutions
• Mentor junior architects and drive best practices in data governance and quality assurance
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like cloud-native data services to enhance platform capabilities
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improving data infrastructure resilience
• Facilitate cross-team workshops to align data strategies with business objectives in areas like risk management and customer analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or banking
• Proven track record in designing scalable data solutions for enterprise-level applications
• Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms
• Experience with regulatory compliance in financial data handling (e.g., GDPR, SOX, Basel III)
• Strong leadership experience in guiding cross-functional teams on data strategy
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and DevOps practices for data pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
