Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines to support Chase UK's financial analytics and reporting needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative data solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and UK banking standards
• Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Optimize data architectures for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments
• Drive the adoption of advanced technologies like big data tools and ETL frameworks to enhance operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines in financial services
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements in banking (e.g., GDPR, FCA regulations)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on data-intensive applications

Preferred Qualifications
