Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable DevOps solutions for equities trading platforms to support high-frequency and algorithmic trading
• Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar to ensure rapid and reliable software releases
• Collaborate with agile teams including traders, quants, and developers to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance for low-latency trading systems, leveraging cloud-native technologies
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices in automation, infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible, and security in financial environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time trading systems, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with risk management protocols
• Drive innovation in trading technologies by evaluating and adopting emerging DevOps tools and methodologies
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the architectural design of resilient, fault-tolerant systems for global equities markets
• Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's security standards and regulatory requirements in all DevOps processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a high-frequency trading environment
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, with hands-on experience in financial services
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile methodologies
• Familiarity with equities trading systems and low-latency infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Java or Python in developing trading applications
• Certification in AWS or DevOps tools (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
• Prior work in a global financial institution handling high-volume equities trading
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial technologies (e.g., MiFID II, SEC rules)
