Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full stack cybersecurity solutions to protect JP Morgan Chase's financial systems and data
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate security features into web and mobile applications handling sensitive customer information
• Conduct code reviews and implement secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities in banking platforms
• Lead the architecture of scalable, secure microservices for real-time transaction monitoring and threat detection
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal security policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future breaches
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for secure software development in the financial sector
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and incorporate defenses into JP Morgan's technology stack
• Contribute to the innovation of AI-driven security tools for fraud prevention in global payment systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in full stack software engineering with a focus on cybersecurity
• Proven track record in developing secure applications for financial services environments
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP in secure implementations
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX relevant to banking

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• Experience in financial fraud detection or risk management systems at a major bank
• Prior leadership role in engineering teams within a global financial institution

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for full stack development
• Expertise in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Spring Boot, Node.js, or .NET
• Knowledge of database systems including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption, and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Skills in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar for secure deployments
• Ability to perform threat modeling and vulnerability assessments
• Experience with API design and security (RESTful, GraphQL)
• Proficiency in cloud security services (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure Sentinel)
• Analytical problem-solving and attention to detail
