Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure to support AI/ML initiatives at JP Morgan Chase
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate machine learning models into scalable, secure production environments
• Oversee the management of cloud resources, ensuring cost-efficiency, performance, and compliance with financial regulations
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for AI/ML deployments
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to AI workloads, implementing proactive solutions to minimize downtime
• Drive adoption of best practices in MLOps, including model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining pipelines
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions for financial applications
• Ensure infrastructure supports high-availability and disaster recovery for mission-critical AI-driven financial services
• Conduct security assessments and implement controls to protect sensitive financial data in AI/ML systems
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI infrastructure and recommend integrations to enhance JP Morgan's competitive edge

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud platforms and AI/ML integrations
• Proven experience leading teams in designing and deploying scalable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads in a financial services environment
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with emphasis on secure, compliant deployments
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for orchestrating AI/ML pipelines
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and financial industry standards like PCI-DSS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex, high-stakes projects in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services sector, particularly with risk management or trading systems
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Kubeflow in production environments
• Background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines tailored for machine learning operations (MLOps)
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises financial systems
