Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust database infrastructure solutions to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver critical infrastructure engineering across multiple technical domains, ensuring seamless integration with trading, risk management, and client services systems
• Optimize database performance and scalability to handle high-volume financial transactions and data analytics in a 24/7 environment
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex database issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity for regulatory compliance
• Develop and enforce best practices for database security, including encryption, access controls, and audit trails specific to financial services
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure engineering processes within the team
• Evaluate and integrate emerging database technologies to enhance JP Morgan Chase's competitive edge in fintech

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on database systems
