Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure private IaaS environments tailored to JP Morgan Chase's financial infrastructure needs
• Conduct rigorous testing of IaaS components to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive financial data in IaaS platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security experts, and compliance officers to integrate IaaS solutions
• Monitor and optimize IaaS performance, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime in mission-critical banking systems
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning and managing IaaS resources
• Stay abreast of emerging IaaS technologies and recommend innovations to enhance JP Morgan's infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements specific to financial services, such as data sovereignty and audit trails
• Mentor junior engineers and lead infrastructure projects from inception to deployment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on IaaS environments
• Proven expertise in designing, testing, and securing private cloud infrastructures
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations such as SOX, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible
