Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy critical infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate infrastructure engineering with application development, ensuring seamless delivery of secure and scalable systems
• Lead the implementation of automation and orchestration strategies to optimize infrastructure performance and reduce operational costs
• Monitor and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, maintaining 99.99% uptime for mission-critical financial platforms
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies, conducting regular audits and risk assessments
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure enhancements to support JP Morgan Chase's digital transformation initiatives
• Partner with stakeholders across technology, risk, and business units to align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans tailored to the financial services sector's stringent requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on financial services environments
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions in agile teams
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in hybrid cloud architectures
• Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to the financial industry (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical discipline
• Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
• Experience working in a global financial institution with high-availability systems
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior involvement in regulatory audits or risk management in banking infrastructure

Required Skills

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of networking protocols, load balancing, and firewall configurations
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Understanding of database infrastructure, including SQL and NoSQL systems
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
