Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of low-latency network infrastructure to support JP Morgan Chase's global trading operations
• Collaborate with trading teams, developers, and compliance officers to ensure network performance meets stringent financial market demands
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance in real-time, minimizing latency for high-frequency trading and market data feeds
• Develop and maintain scalable network architectures using technologies like FPGA, Arista, or Juniper for ultra-low latency
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to handle peak trading volumes in the financial services sector
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in infrastructure engineering within a regulated banking environment
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance for all network deployments
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 availability of critical financial infrastructure
• Innovate and prototype new low-latency solutions to enhance JP Morgan Chase's competitive edge in capital markets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on low-latency environments
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing high-performance networking solutions for financial trading systems
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements, such as MiFID II and SEC rules
• Experience with agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams in a global financial institution
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and work in a high-stakes, 24/7 operational environment

Preferred Qualifications
