Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network infrastructure solutions to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations and trading platforms
• Lead the engineering and deployment of network technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring high availability and low latency
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate network solutions with application development, focusing on secure data transmission for banking services
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of network systems to handle peak transaction volumes in the financial sector
• Monitor and maintain network security protocols, performing vulnerability assessments and implementing fixes to comply with industry regulations
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents, providing root cause analysis and preventive measures to minimize downtime in mission-critical environments
• Mentor and guide junior infrastructure engineers, fostering knowledge sharing within the team
• Evaluate and recommend emerging network technologies to enhance JP Morgan Chase's infrastructure resilience and efficiency
• Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures to support audit and compliance requirements in financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network infrastructure engineering, with a focus on large-scale enterprise environments
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures including LAN, WAN, and data center networking
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations such as PCI-DSS, SOX, and GDPR, with experience ensuring compliance in secure environments
• Experience working in agile methodologies and cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve high-impact network issues in a 24/7 operational setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent in network security and infrastructure
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly in hybrid financial services deployments
