Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of network infrastructure solutions to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver critical infrastructure engineering across multiple technical domains, ensuring high availability and performance
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations, including data security and disaster recovery protocols
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the Infrastructure Engineering team
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in real-time, minimizing downtime for trading and banking systems
• Evaluate and integrate emerging network technologies to enhance scalability and efficiency in a fast-paced financial environment
• Develop and maintain documentation for network architectures, supporting audits and knowledge transfer
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align network strategies with business objectives in the Asia-Pacific region
• Monitor network performance using advanced tools and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable network solutions in a financial services environment
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and SOX
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in high-stakes environments
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent in network engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's) in a relevant technical field
• Experience working in global financial institutions with a focus on Asia-Pacific operations
• Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Prior leadership in regulatory audits and risk management for network infrastructure

• Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing protocols
• Proficiency in network security tools like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex infrastructure challenges
• Leadership and team management abilities in agile environments
• Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and automation scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Splunk
• Understanding of financial services compliance and cybersecurity best practices
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical documentation
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, 24/7 operational environments
• Familiarity with load balancing, WAN optimization, and data center networking
• Project management skills using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Adaptability to evolving technologies in cloud and hybrid network architectures
• Attention to detail in ensuring zero-tolerance for security vulnerabilities
