Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of network systems and facilities infrastructure to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology domains to resolve complex infrastructure challenges and drive business impact
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of network architectures handling sensitive financial data and high-frequency trading
• Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of data center facilities, including power systems, cooling, and physical security measures
• Develop and enforce standards for network performance monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation in infrastructure engineering within the financial services context
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for infrastructure vulnerabilities in a fast-paced banking environment
• Integrate emerging technologies such as SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and edge computing to enhance operational efficiency
• Partner with business stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with strategic goals like digital transformation and cost optimization
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators for network and facilities systems to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on network systems and facilities in a large-scale financial environment
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in designing and implementing resilient infrastructure solutions
• Deep expertise in network protocols, security standards, and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and SOX in the financial services sector
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments supporting high-volume financial transactions
• Strong problem-solving abilities demonstrated in high-stakes, mission-critical systems
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and adhere to JP Morgan Chase's risk management frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent in network engineering
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting for infrastructure as code
• Prior work in agile methodologies within a DevOps culture at a major financial institution
• Knowledge of sustainable data center practices and energy-efficient facility management
• Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and processes for global infrastructure deployment
