Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security controls for AI/ML models deployed in JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI/ML systems to identify vulnerabilities in model training, inference, and data pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and compliance officers to integrate security into the AI/ML lifecycle
• Develop and maintain secure AI/ML frameworks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
• Investigate and respond to security incidents involving AI/ML components, including adversarial attacks and data poisoning
• Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness training focused on AI/ML technologies
• Evaluate and recommend tools for AI/ML security monitoring, such as anomaly detection systems tailored to banking fraud prevention
• Contribute to the firm's AI governance policies, emphasizing secure and ethical deployment in trading, lending, and customer analytics
• Perform code reviews and security audits on AI/ML repositories to uphold JP Morgan Chase's standards for data privacy and integrity
• Stay abreast of emerging threats in AI/ML security and propose innovative defenses for the financial services industry

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML security
• Proven track record of leading security initiatives in a large-scale financial institution or similar high-stakes environment
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, including their security implications
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and secure coding practices for AI/ML systems
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards like GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX in the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Cybersecurity
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• Experience with adversarial AI attacks and defenses in production financial systems
• Prior leadership role in securing AI/ML models for fraud detection or risk management
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and bias mitigation in banking applications
