Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity solutions across Google Cloud Platform and AI/ML environments to protect JP Morgan Chase's financial assets
• Lead agile teams in developing secure cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal security policies
• Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability management for AI systems, identifying risks in data processing and model training pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and compliance teams to integrate security best practices into financial services applications
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in GCP, utilizing tools like Chronicle and Security Command Center for real-time threat detection
• Develop and enforce security policies for AI deployments, focusing on data privacy and ethical AI use in trading and risk analysis
• Mentor junior engineers on cloud security principles and contribute to JP Morgan's cybersecurity innovation roadmap
• Perform regular audits and penetration testing on cloud-based financial systems to mitigate emerging threats
• Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity trends in finance, particularly those related to AI and quantum-resistant cryptography
• Drive cross-regional security initiatives in Dublin, aligning with global JP Morgan standards for resilient infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience implementing and managing AI/ML security solutions in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX relevant to banking
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in high-stakes environments
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer
• Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives in a large-scale enterprise setting like JP Morgan Chase

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI security frameworks such as TensorFlow Privacy or secure ML pipelines in GCP
• Background in securing financial transaction systems and fraud detection using cloud-native tools
• Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal security tools and risk management practices
• Advanced knowledge of threat modeling for AI-driven applications in the financial sector
• Prior leadership role in a cybersecurity team within a global financial institution

Required Skills

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and AI Platform
• Proficiency in securing AI/ML workloads with tools like Vertex AI and TensorFlow Extended (TFX)
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) in GCP and multi-cloud environments
• Experience with encryption, key management, and secure data pipelines in financial applications
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and automated security orchestration
• Understanding of financial regulations and risk frameworks specific to banking cybersecurity
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Go for developing security scripts and tools
• Agile and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines with security integration
• Analytical problem-solving and ability to handle complex, high-pressure security incidents
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical documentation
• Leadership and team collaboration in multicultural, global teams
• Knowledge of emerging threats like AI adversarial attacks and supply chain vulnerabilities
