JP Morgan Chase
Location: Singapore
Job Family: Software Engineering
At JPMorgan Chase, we are at the forefront of redefining the future of financial services through innovative technology. As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer in our Electronic Trading Service team based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our global trading infrastructure. This position involves leading efforts to build and maintain high-availability systems that power electronic trading for institutional clients, handling massive transaction volumes with minimal latency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, and compliance experts to shape the infrastructure that supports our market-leading position in asset management and investment banking. Your responsibilities will center on promoting excellence in infrastructure design, automation, and operational resilience. You will spearhead the implementation of SRE practices tailored to the demands of the financial industry, such as defining service level objectives (SLOs) for ultra-low latency trading platforms and conducting rigorous capacity planning to handle peak market volatility. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex issues in real-time, lead incident response for 24/7 operations, and drive continuous improvements to reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR). By leveraging tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and advanced monitoring stacks, you will ensure our systems comply with stringent regulations like those from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and global standards, safeguarding client assets and trust. Joining JPMorgan Chase means becoming part of a dynamic, inclusive culture that values innovation and professional growth. In Singapore, our hub for Asia-Pacific operations, you will contribute to strategic initiatives that influence global markets while benefiting from world-class resources and mentorship. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects in a collaborative environment, where your expertise in site reliability engineering will directly enhance our competitive edge in electronic trading. If you are passionate about technology's role in finance and ready to shape the future of reliable trading services, we invite you to bring your skills to our team.
