Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of resiliency patterns for the Kinexys Blockchain platform on AWS, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
  • Tackle complex technical issues related to blockchain scalability, security, and performance in a financial services context
  • Drive technical initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure, including automation of deployments and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to promote SRE best practices, such as error budgets and service level objectives (SLOs)
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Mentor junior engineers on reliability engineering principles and blockchain-specific challenges
  • Ensure compliance with financial industry standards, including data privacy and audit requirements
  • Monitor and enhance system observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
  • Participate in on-call rotations to maintain 24/7 platform reliability for global financial operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or software engineering roles
