Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of automated test scripts for RIO testing in the AM Transactions & Positions organization
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product owners to define testing strategies for financial transaction platforms
  • Mentor junior SDETs and ensure best practices in test automation and code quality
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing in Agile sprints
  • Identify and mitigate risks in high-volume transaction processing systems
  • Perform root cause analysis on test failures and production issues related to asset management positions
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations through rigorous testing protocols
  • Drive innovation in testing tools to improve efficiency in JP Morgan's global operations
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle
  • Report on testing metrics and progress to senior stakeholders in the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation within financial services
  • Proven leadership experience in guiding testing teams on complex projects
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with test automation frameworks in Java or Python
  • Knowledge of financial transaction systems and regulatory compliance (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment at a global bank like JP Morgan Chase
