Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven features for JP Morgan Chase's servicing back-end systems to enhance customer banking experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and compliance experts to integrate AI models into production environments
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the team
• Optimize AI algorithms for performance, scalability, and efficiency in handling high-volume financial transactions
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to JP Morgan's security standards and financial regulations, mitigating risks in real-time servicing applications
• Conduct code reviews, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software architecture
• Prototype and experiment with emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities for improving customer servicing workflows
• Monitor and troubleshoot AI systems in production, resolving issues to maintain 99.9% uptime for critical banking services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in AI/ML development
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in delivering scalable AI solutions in financial services
• Strong understanding of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly in AI workloads
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in finance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) and secure coding practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience in natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision for banking applications
• Prior work at a major financial institution, ideally with exposure to servicing platforms
