Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions to support critical financial services applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to integrate machine learning models into trading, risk management, and customer analytics platforms
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure codebases compliant with JPMorgan Chase standards
• Optimize ML models for performance, scalability, and efficiency in handling large-scale financial datasets
• Drive innovation in AI technologies to enhance fraud detection, predictive analytics, and personalized banking experiences
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III in all AI/ML implementations
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver solutions on time
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production AI systems
• Stay updated on emerging AI/ML trends and evaluate their applicability to JPMorgan's financial products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML development
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in agile environments
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, including regulatory compliance and data security
• Experience with scalable AI/ML systems in production environments
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages for ML applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience in financial modeling, risk assessment, or fraud detection using AI/ML
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for ML deployments
• Prior work at a major financial institution or fintech company

Required Skills

• Expertise in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL for data processing and model development
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform
• Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Strong understanding of data privacy, encryption, and secure coding practices in finance
• Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Leadership and team management skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
