Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy critical AI-driven technical solutions across multiple domains within JP Morgan Chase's agile teams
• Lead the implementation of AI operations pipelines to ensure model reliability, scalability, and performance in financial applications
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate AI models into production systems for banking and investment services
• Monitor and optimize AI systems for real-time fraud detection, risk assessment, and customer personalization in a secure, compliant manner
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices for AI deployment and maintenance in the financial sector
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in AI infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal security protocols while innovating AI solutions
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver high-impact features
• Research and incorporate emerging AI technologies to enhance JP Morgan Chase's competitive edge in fintech

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in AI/ML operations or related fields
• Proven experience in building and deploying scalable AI solutions in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in a production setting
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to financial services, such as GDPR and SOX

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience with AI operations in high-stakes financial applications, like fraud detection or risk modeling
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer)
• Prior work at a major financial institution or fintech company
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices in a regulated industry
