Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI platforms that support machine learning models for financial applications
• Lead a cross-functional agile team to deliver critical tech solutions across multiple technical domains
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate AI into core banking systems
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance with financial industry standards
• Optimize AI infrastructure for performance in high-volume transaction environments
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality and deployment
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement monitoring for AI systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI and machine learning platforms
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in agile environments within financial services
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks and scalable platform development
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP in a regulated industry
• Knowledge of financial regulations like GDPR, SOX, and data privacy standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Experience with AI platforms in high-frequency trading or risk management systems
• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or AI-specific technologies
• Prior work at a major financial institution on AI-driven solutions
