Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI platforms that support machine learning workflows for JP Morgan Chase's financial products
• Lead a cross-functional agile team to deliver innovative tech solutions across trading, risk management, and customer analytics
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to integrate AI models into production systems while ensuring security and compliance
• Optimize AI infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability in cloud environments
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement monitoring for AI systems in high-volume financial transactions
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to JP Morgan's business challenges
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements in all AI platform developments
• Contribute to architectural decisions for enterprise-wide AI initiatives, focusing on scalability and interoperability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI and machine learning platforms
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in agile environments within financial services or high-stakes industries
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in scalable AI infrastructure
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Kubeflow
• Experience with data pipelines, model deployment, and MLOps practices in regulated environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Experience in financial services, particularly in areas like risk modeling, fraud detection, or algorithmic trading
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, or FINRA in AI applications
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in machine learning conferences
• Certification in cloud AI services (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning)
