Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models using Python and AWS to solve complex financial challenges like predictive analytics and risk assessment
• Lead agile teams in building scalable, secure software solutions that integrate with JP Morgan Chase's core banking systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements for AI-driven financial products
• Optimize ML pipelines for performance, ensuring models are efficient, interpretable, and compliant with industry regulations
• Implement best practices for cloud architecture on AWS, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in AI/ML applications for trading, compliance, and customer insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, maintaining high availability for mission-critical financial systems
• Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML trends and integrate them into JP Morgan Chase's technology stack to enhance competitive edge
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security standards and data privacy laws specific to the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML development
• Proficiency in Python for building scalable AI/ML models and applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including SageMaker, EC2, and Lambda
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience in agile methodologies and collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to deliver secure, compliant solutions in a regulated financial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience in financial services, particularly in risk modeling, fraud detection, or algorithmic trading
