Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of front-end applications using Angular 2+, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver innovative financial products
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including product managers and backend engineers, to ensure seamless integration and scalability
• Implement secure coding practices to protect sensitive financial data and comply with regulatory standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices in software engineering
• Optimize application performance for high-traffic environments in the banking sector
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to continuously improve team processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production systems supporting global financial operations
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept projects for JP Morgan Chase's digital transformation
• Ensure accessibility and usability of user interfaces for diverse client bases in wealth management and investment banking

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development
• Strong proficiency in Angular 2+ and RxJS for building reactive web applications
• Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 for creating responsive and accessible user interfaces
• Experience working in agile environments with version control systems like Git
• Demonstrated ability to design secure and scalable applications in the financial services domain
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
