Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers in designing and developing greenfield projects that enhance customer features for JPMorgan Chase's digital banking platforms
• Architect scalable, secure solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services like EC2, Lambda, and S3 to support high-volume financial transactions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements aligned with regulatory standards in the financial services industry
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment in agile sprints
• Drive innovation in customer experience features, such as personalized banking tools and real-time analytics, while ensuring data privacy and compliance with GDPR and SOX
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance to handle peak loads in a 24/7 financial environment
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance platform capabilities, focusing on seamless user interactions
• Contribute to the evolution of JPMorgan Chase's technology roadmap, advocating for cloud migration and modernization initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Java and AWS technologies
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in agile environments, delivering greenfield projects
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, including regulatory compliance and secure data handling
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices in a high-scale financial environment
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
