Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software engineering teams in the design, development, and deployment of AWS-based applications using Java and React
• Manage daily implementation activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards
• Set overall guidance for team output, best practices, and collaboration to foster innovation in financial services solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across JP Morgan Chase to define technical requirements for banking platforms
• Oversee code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high security and performance in financial systems
• Mentor junior engineers and promote agile methodologies to enhance team productivity
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the financial industry
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies to optimize costs and scalability for JP Morgan's global operations
• Facilitate cross-team communication to integrate frontend React UIs with robust Java backends
• Contribute to strategic planning for software architecture in support of JP Morgan's digital transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams in agile environments, particularly in financial services
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and container orchestration
• Strong proficiency in Java backend development and React frontend frameworks
• Experience with secure coding practices and compliance standards in the financial sector (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily implementation activities and drive team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing scalable applications for banking or financial platforms at JP Morgan Chase or similar institutions
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of financial data processing, risk management systems, or trading platforms
