Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS, Python, and Terraform to support JPMorgan Chase's financial platforms
• Lead agile teams in building scalable infrastructure for high-volume transaction systems in the banking sector
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant tech solutions aligned with regulatory standards
• Mentor and guide software engineers on best practices for IaC and cloud optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial services
• Implement automation scripts in Python to streamline deployment processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the evolution of engineering standards within the team
• Monitor and optimize AWS resources to control costs while maintaining performance for global banking operations
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and integrate them into JPMorgan's tech stack for competitive advantage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC
• Strong experience with Python for developing scalable applications and automation scripts
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) in multi-environment deployments
• Experience working in agile methodologies within financial services or high-stakes environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and mentor junior developers

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical discipline
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of financial regulations such as GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS compliance in cloud setups
