Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's digital banking platform
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define technical requirements aligned with customer trust and value propositions
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) and implement robust security measures for sensitive banking data
• Optimize system performance to handle high transaction volumes and provide seamless user experiences in a 24/7 digital environment
• Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies like AI and cloud-native services to enhance digital banking features
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in on-call rotations for system reliability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and roadmap planning for the digital bank's engineering initiatives
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through agile ceremonies and knowledge-sharing sessions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven experience in developing scalable applications in the financial services domain, including knowledge of banking regulations and security standards
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital banking platforms or fintech innovations at a major financial institution
• Knowledge of machine learning or AI applications in fraud detection and customer personalization
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP)
• Prior work with JP Morgan Chase or similar global banks on high-volume transaction systems
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field with publications or contributions to open-source projects
