Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical software solutions across multiple technical domains in an agile team environment
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements for financial applications
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant codebases
• Implement scalable microservices and APIs that integrate with JP Morgan's core banking systems
• Drive innovation in fintech solutions, focusing on areas like real-time transaction processing and data analytics
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory standards in all development activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments to minimize downtime
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend integrations to enhance platform capabilities
• Document technical designs and processes to support knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development
• Proven track record in agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams in financial services
• Strong understanding of financial systems, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a high-availability environment
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable microservices architectures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in debugging complex production issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing solutions for investment banking or asset management domains at JP Morgan Chase
• Certifications in Java, Spring Boot, or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer)
• Prior leadership role in delivering tech solutions for global financial platforms
• Knowledge of machine learning integration for fraud detection or risk assessment
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated industry
