Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native AI/ML solutions to support critical financial services applications, ensuring scalability and performance
• Lead agile teams in developing machine learning models for risk assessment, fraud detection, and predictive analytics in banking operations
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate AI/ML into JP Morgan's trading and client services platforms
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure to handle high-volume financial data processing
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards in all AI/ML deployments
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps for AI systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for mission-critical services
• Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML trends and evaluate their applicability to JP Morgan's financial innovation initiatives
• Contribute to architectural decisions for multi-cloud strategies supporting global banking operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud platforms and AI/ML technologies
• Proven track record in developing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with data privacy and regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR and financial regulations
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding engineering teams through complex technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience with JP Morgan's internal tech stack or similar enterprise financial systems
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI/ML services
• Prior work in fraud detection, risk modeling, or algorithmic trading within banking
