Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based platforms to support next-generation banking solutions for JP Morgan Chase's corporate clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructures compliant with financial regulations like GDPR and SOX
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning
• Drive the adoption of microservices and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) to enhance platform reliability
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software development, and optimize performance for high-volume financial transactions
• Integrate security measures and monitoring tools to protect sensitive banking data in the cloud environment
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives in corporate banking
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and contribute to JP Morgan's technology roadmap
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production cloud environments to minimize downtime

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud platforms
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles, including infrastructure as code and containerization
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with regulatory compliance and secure systems
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical innovation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform in a financial context
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for banking applications
• Previous work at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for cloud-native application development
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack)
• Understanding of financial regulations and secure coding practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for team collaboration
• Problem-solving abilities in high-stakes financial environments
• Agile methodologies and scrum framework experience
• Database management skills (SQL/NoSQL) for financial data handling
• API design and integration for banking services
