Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud solutions using Java and AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Develop and advance automation strategies for testing, deployment, and monitoring to ensure high reliability in banking applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality engineering practices into the software development lifecycle
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in cloud quality engineering within the financial services context
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards for sensitive financial data
• Innovate on testing frameworks to handle large-scale, real-time transaction processing in AWS environments
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to minimize downtime in mission-critical systems
• Contribute to the evolution of reliability standards, including chaos engineering and fault tolerance for global banking operations
• Partner with stakeholders to align cloud quality initiatives with business objectives in risk management and customer-facing services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud platforms and quality engineering
• Proficiency in Java programming and experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and compliance standards in the financial services sector, including PCI-DSS and GDPR
• Experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for cloud-native applications
• Proven track record in leading engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions in high-stakes environments
