Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications using Python and modern frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance technology products that support JP Morgan Chase's corporate functions
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure all solutions adhere to financial industry standards for security, scalability, and compliance
• Optimize cloud infrastructure to handle high-volume financial data processing and real-time analytics
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing systems to deliver reliable market-leading products
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to align with business objectives
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality in corporate technology platforms
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to documentation for maintainable, enterprise-grade software
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies to innovate within the financial services landscape

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on cloud platforms and Python development
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based applications in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of financial systems, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SEC, FINRA)
• Experience leading engineering teams in agile methodologies within high-stakes, mission-critical projects
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges under tight deadlines

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
