Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions for collateral management systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, risk managers, and compliance experts to align tech solutions with business needs
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices in an agile environment
  • Implement and optimize real-time processing for collateral valuation and margin calls in high-volume trading scenarios
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory standards such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and HKMA guidelines
  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability and security
  • Drive integration of emerging technologies like AI/ML for predictive collateral analytics
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and report on system performance metrics to senior stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on financial systems
  • Proven experience in leading agile teams and delivering complex technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of collateral management, risk systems, and financial services regulations
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical innovation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure environments

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Finance-related field
