Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data warehousing solutions using Snowflake to support JP Morgan's global financial operations
• Lead agile teams in building scalable ETL pipelines for processing high-volume transaction and market data
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data architectures
• Implement data governance and quality controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the financial sector
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical banking systems
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for cloud-based data engineering and Snowflake optimization
• Integrate Snowflake with other JP Morgan tools like Hadoop or AWS services for hybrid data ecosystems
• Conduct performance tuning and cost optimization for data storage and querying in Snowflake
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, such as AI-driven analytics for fraud detection or portfolio management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data warehousing and ETL processes
• Proficiency in Snowflake for data modeling, warehousing, and analytics in a cloud environment
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools in financial services contexts
• Demonstrated ability to lead agile teams and deliver scalable tech solutions
