Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps pipelines for JPM Personal Investing platforms to ensure seamless deployment and scalability
• Collaborate with software development teams to automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible in AWS or Azure environments
• Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and security for investment management applications handling sensitive financial data
• Drive adoption of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support microservices architecture in personal investing solutions
• Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within JPMorgan Chase's engineering practices
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, SEC) through robust CI/CD processes and automated testing frameworks
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues, implementing proactive monitoring with tools like Prometheus and ELK stack
• Partner with stakeholders in Personal Investing to align DevOps strategies with business goals, such as enhancing user experience for retail investors
• Contribute to the evolution of JPMorgan's cloud strategy, focusing on cost optimization and resilience for global investment platforms
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC) to maintain high standards in financial software delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices in a financial services environment
• Proven track record of leading DevOps teams in building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure for high-stakes applications
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the financial sector, including data security and risk management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools in a large-scale enterprise setting
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with JPMorgan Chase's technology stack or similar investment banking platforms
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or equivalent
• Background in personal investing or wealth management software development
• Knowledge of machine learning integration in DevOps for predictive analytics in finance
• Prior leadership in global teams across multiple time zones

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on financial-grade security
